anyone for death/doom metal?

lol; i guess the most popular reaction to my preferred genre is 'you're weird'!! which is fine by me i just always felt that human agony couldn't be more pronounced than in the deep growls of the vocals and the lighter angelic vocals that never fail to bring tears to my eys ...

still; i'd be interested to see how many people share my taste, which isn't limited to metal, i like almost anything except rap lol ...

lool; billy joel is cool too; like i said; i like everything- there's just something i like about heavy doom and gloom =D makes me cheerful in a really weird way- i don't think it is supposed to work that way!

hmmm - if you like ... check this one out ... it's one of my faves, it makes me cry buckets sometimes and makes me happy other times ... if you're not used to that kind of music it might take a while to get used to, but if u just sit back and listen to the way the melodies rise and fall and entwine ... you might like it (the original is 15 minutes and a bit - but the vid is only 9 minutes )

I listen to all types of genres including death metal etc ^^

=) cool; at last someone who likes the same kinda music i like; i also listen to all genres, i think mostly it depends on my mood; lately i've favored anathema, my dying bride and antimatter amongst others ... they just seem to calm me down and help me focus ...
it's nice to know that i am not the only one here who appreciates that kinda music ...
